Post season 5, Buffy defeated Glory and lived. Dawn convinces Buffy to let Spike stay at their house after his crypt gets trashed in the final fight. An AU Buffy and Spike fanfiction where everyone is human. Buffy and Willow are students at the University of Oxford after Buffys dad paid out a lot of money to get her there, Spike is doing a part time masters degree and is in a band with Oz. When Buffy and Spike bump into each other it puts her life on a whole new course as he encourages her to break free of her restraints and she starts to become less of a daddys girl and more like the girl she holds deep inside.

How far is Spike willing to go in order to fulfil his promise to Buffy?

What does a portal do when there's nothing to exchange on the other side? Using the blood of Buffy and Spike it creates replicas of them, only when they were 5 years old. Passing out from the pain she wakes to find herself chained up by the vampire she thought had saved her and cold realisation dawns on her that she is now at his mercy. As her imprisonment by Spike draws on events happen that will change their lives and bring them closer to each other than they had ever thought possible.

Season 4 - Follows straight on from Love in Vein: Book One. A claim, a prophecy and two jealous vampires are all sent to test Buffy's resolve as she tries to protect the ones she loves from the ultimate evil. Spike attempts to deal with finding himself suddenly having to fit into Buffy's world and the repercussions of even the tiniest wrong move can be monumental. And to make matters worse--it seems like the First Evil isn't their only problem as they count down to the apocalypse.

Season 4 AU Post Something Blue. Buffy and Spike can't live with the echoes of Willows spell lingering between them. They head into town for a cure and they get one, only it wasn't quite the cure that they were looking for and it only serves to intensify the feelings between them. Series of 3 fics, split into six chapters, starts off with 'The Bronze' and then moves onto 'The Bathroom' followed by the final part 'The Bedroom'.

Post season 6. Buffy fan fiction that see's her sitting alone in her house and lets her thoughts wander to Spike and she misses him, she knows he's left town and wonders if he'll ever come back to her.

Season 4 AU, Buffy never made the foolish mistake of hooking up with Riley. Post Something Blue and Buffy and Spike are struggling against the pull they feel for each other and their memories of the Willow induced engagement. As they talk and drink together they both start to realise that maybe, just maybe they should be together, that they shouldn't resist the feelings they share, that they should surrender.

Season 4 AU. It's Buffy's 19th birthday and the party's at her house [while the cats away little Buffy will play] and even Spike's invited. Two bottles of whisky and some sexy party games later and Buffy has a different view on Spike. From Spikes POV.

Season 3 AU, post Lovers Walk. Out on patrol Buffy finds Spike chained up in a cave and left to die, when she discovers it was Angel who put him there she gains an insight into her ex's darker side and agrees with Spike that they need to move on... only it doesn't quite go as planned when they share things that bring them closer together.

Season 6 AU. Spike picks Buffy up for a quiet night out on patrol, but things never go quiet for Buffy. After battling the demons with Spike she has to face her own as they head into Spike's cemetery. Scouting the graveyard from atop their favourite crypt things turn a little romantic as Buffy gets Spike to guide her around the stars on the pretence that she wants to tell Dawn all about them. Not satisfied that justice has been done to the stars stretching out above them she asks Spike to recite her a poem which leads to three little words.

Season 7 AU. Buffy heads out from command central for some retail therapy and escapism with Spike. Pondering their relationship Buffy takes a leap.

Season 6 AU. Buffy realises that her inviting Spike over to patrol on Valentines Day may be seen as a date, but it seems that it doesn't bother her as much as she thought it would...

Season 7 AU - Post Lies My Parents Told Me. Having had enough of the mad house that is command central Buffy drags Spike out with her into the night, taking his motorbike they settle down on a beach together and Buffy admits to her feelings for him.

Season 7 starting at the end of Lies My Parents Told Me. Buffy closes the door on Giles and turns into her room to find Spike sitting on the end of her bed, they share a quiet moment together just enjoying each others company and talking through their day.

Season 6 AU--a little ficlet/scene. Buffy is finding it hard to adjust to being back in the world and has been spending a lot of time talking to Spike because he's the only one who seems to understand her and let her be. Down the Bronze one night she places a bet that she'll regret--or will she?

One night patrol turns out to be a little quiet and the tranquillity they're offered gives them both a chance to reflect on what's happening between them.

Season Six. It's Halloween and Spike is stalking the cemetery when he finds his favourite quarry, but there's something about her tonight that's different and it seems she might be finally ready to take the leap.

Season Six. Buffy finds her evening off ruined by rain and a Polgarra. Chasing it into the cemetery, she quickly realises that she needs help from a certain vampire if she's going to find the Polgarra, only he ends up fighting the metaphorical inner demon that's been growing inside her since she was brought back into the world instead.
