Buffy Fan Fiction by Bittenandstaked

This site is home to my Buffy fan fiction, well at least my Buffy and Spike fanfiction. I was inspired to write Spuffy fanfiction by my love of seeing the relationship between Spike/Buffy grow throughout the seasons, only to be slightly dissapointed by the end result of season 6.

So now I dedicate my spare time to writing happy endings in the form of Spuffy goodness, fan fic that always sees them together at last with the occassional tough luck Angel or Riley angle. I always like feedback and reviews, it helps me to know if you are enjoying a particular story, if you would like to review my fiction then please feel free to email a review to me and I'll post it on the fic listing page when I finally get around to it.

War and Peace has never received much attention, but the number of people asking for it to return to the site has overwhelmed me. I never realised so many people had enjoyed this story and that it had meant so much to some. I've decided that I'll make it available to anyone who emails me. I'll send you a zip file with the story in one HTML file to read at your leisure. I only ask that you don't distribute it on sites. Obviously I used a large chunk of the storyline for the basis of Prophecy so I don't want it available on the open market. If you want the story, email me and ask!

It is with considerable regret and a heavy heart that I have to announce that from this moment, I will no longer be writing spuffy fanfiction.

Those of you who know me will know that I haven't come to this decision lightly, and it pains me to have to leave one story on my site unfinished, when I have always endeavoured to finish everything I've started in life.

The reason I am leaving the fandom is because I have been suffering under a serious stress related illness since January this year and have had to look at my writing and decide what is most important--my spuffy, or my original fiction. Since 2005, I've been writing original fiction, and my passion for that now far outweighs my passion for writing spuffy. I've tried to continue in both, but it's become clear that the muse is feeling the same way as me. Original fiction is now where my heart lies, and therefore it is that which I have decided to continue pursuing. I have to think about the career I'm building in it, and devote what little time I have to that.

It hurts me to do this, but fandom life has never been easy for me, and it's doubly hard now that I don't have the time to dedicate to it, or the inspiration.

Beautiful Disaster will be posted in full this weekend, along with the few chapters I had written of Love in Vein 3. For Love in Vein 3, I'll post a long summary of what I had intended to write so you'll at least know how the story ends. It pains me to leave it unfinished, but I can't see I'll ever find the time, or the motivation to write it. It was supposed to be my crowning achievement in fandom, but I guess it won't turn out that way now.

To my readers, feedbackers, and devoted fans (if I can call you that!), I really hope this hurts you less than it hurts me. The site will remain open, and I will continue to chat with you all on my tagboard because I really love the relationship we have. I hope some of you will follow me over into my original fiction. I don't know what I'll do without you all. People in the world of original fiction aren't as supportive as you, and certainly don't give me feedback.

I've got the first chapter of a new story posted today!!! I've posted chapter 1 of Beautiful Disaster. Post The Gift. To get rid of Glory, Giles, Willow and Tara open a portal to a dimension that is nothing more than an empty world. As the portal is being summoned Spike is rescuing Dawn and getting skewered in the process. His blood spills onto the portal below and Buffy's blood is on Glory as she pushes her through. What does a portal do when there's nothing to exchange on the other side? Using the blood of Buffy and Spike it creates replicas of them, only when they were 5 years old. Spike knows that a little reassurance can go a long way and he's more than willing to mollycoddle his Slayer a little.

I've posted chapter 7 of Driving to Distraction. It's late at night and neither Buffy or Spike are tired. When Spike puts his foot down on the gas, Buffy hopes he'll get pulled over. When he does, she steps in to save him and things take an interesting turn.

She can feel how disturbed he is, and when she looks into the mirror she can see why. I've posted chapter 15 of Love in vein: book three. A moment arrives that Giles has been fearing since Spike first came to him. Spike has escaped. He's surprised when he discovers that Spike hadn't attempted to kill, or even bite, Andrew during his escape. Rushing to see Buffy, he's even more surprised when he discovers that Spike is with her in her room.

Realising that it's time to leave, she asks William to go with her to the Council to return the books, and then she'll leave. Buffy wakes in her bed to discover that she hadn't gone anywhere, or had she? When Dawn leaves her alone with Spike, will he prove to her that this wasn't all a dream?

Unable to find any peace during the long day and the even longer night, she is hounded by visions of things to come, things that will spell the ultimate destruction of the world if she ignores her calling and her destiny. But what is the future to her without her mate? How can she care about the apocalyptic events that she has seen when she feels more alone that she's ever done? Ready to throw in the towel, she lives minute to minute, waiting for the end, until a phone call brings her to England, forcing her to come face to face with something she thought she'd lost forever and the evil that is heralding the end of everything.

I've uploaded chapter 1 of a new story, 1880. Travelling through time is the last thing Buffy expects to do when she gives chase to a man who has stolen something from the Magic Box. Finding herself in nineteenth century London, there's only one person that Buffy can think of who could help her get home, Spike, or at least his human counterpart, William. The only question is whether Spike is still William at this moment in time or whether it's too late and she'll be stuck in 1880 forever. And even if she finds William, will he be able to help her back to her time and back to the vampire version of himself that she discovers she has feelings for?

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY TALES OF THE SLAYER!!. A short season six angsty one for you all! I've uploaded Confronting Darkness. Buffy finds her evening off ruined by rain and a Polgarra. Chasing it into the cemetery, she quickly realises that she needs help from a certain vampire if she's going to find the Polgarra, only he ends up fighting the metaphorical inner demon that's been growing inside her since she was brought back into the world instead.
