Early Season 4 - Follows straight on from Love in Vein: Book One. A claim, a prophecy and two jealous vampires are all sent to test Buffy's resolve as she tries to protect the ones she loves from the ultimate evil. Spike attempts to deal with finding himself suddenly having to fit into Buffy's world and the repercussions of even the tiniest wrong move can be monumental. And to make matters worse--it seems like the First Evil isn't their only problem as they count down to the apocalypse.
