AU everyone's human set in the mid 18th century. Captured by pirates, Buffy Summers becomes embroiled in a tumultuous journey of pain, revenge and love as the captain of The Merciless, Spike, uses her as bait to lure the navy into battle so he can settle an old score with an admirer of Buffy's, the captain of the naval fleet posted at Liberty--Angel.
